I use a Thrush two-chamber - not bad on the freeway, but when you get on it...watch out!

 

Magnaflow Cat, 3 inch Pipe, Thrush muffler...

Really couldnt have asked for more in sound and performance...

I looove it.

And what size is our exhaust on the 5.7?

 

i think the pipe from the manifolds is 2 1/2" then goes into 3" after the y-pipe

 

Here is a demo of 3 CherryBomb exhaust systems I had on my 2006 2500HD RAM non-mds Hemi.
It is in order of loudest to quietest. Vortex,Turbo, IMCO. The IMCO has no highway drone at all and is the largest muffler.

No, stock cat is fine. Already high flow. Catback piping should be 3" on the all newer years and i believe it was 2.5" 05 back???
