Default 6x9 door speaker upgrade!!!!

I was just wandering if anybody knew about this. Mopar has an 6x9 speaker upgrade for the 02 & up dodge rams. Anyways, the my parts guy at the local dealership turned me to these speakers. I wasn't originaly going to get these. I purchased some rockford fosgate 6x9 with the same depth, but the structure in the back was to wide. I didnt want to modify my door, so i took them back and got that 6x9 2 way 75rms kicker upgrade from the dealership. Man, talk about night and day difference.

Nice! I love my MTX 6x9s, they are 180 watts RMS and 320 watts max. I'm not shure if they will fit in my doors yet though. I only payed $60 for them new off the internet.

I got them at a discount @ $117, but full price is about $132.

It's too bad the factory uses such crappy speakers in the first place.

Are you just going to drop those speakers in or do you have to pass them through an amp first? I am assuming you still have your oem head unit......
