Bye bye dodgeforum
dont blame ya. no reason to be driving a truck if you dont have to. the area i live in is all "go green" so i get comments all the time about driving a truck. then i tell them i work construction and own a landscape company that I run on the weekends. then use it for hauling the motorcycle to cruise weeks. subarus are great vehicles and are even better in the snow (if there awd)
Sorry to see you go
Just so you know our trucks' interiors are made out of cheap plastic parts too. If you think all hyundais and kias have cheap interiors, go sit in a genesis sedan and talk to me. Even the Kia Borrego has a pretty nice interior.
Jeez, I didn't think I would ever defend a Kia/Hyundai.
P.S: the cheapest hyundai is i think $9,995 or so. Wait until the tata nano comes here.

If I remember correctly, the Saturn brand was the one making craptastic plastic body panels for a few years and they were american. hahaha
Also, I think the outside of some of their cars looks fine.
for instance,

The korean auto manufacturers are making advancements in leaps and bounds. People said they wouldn't be caught dead in a honda or toyota forty years ago and now look where they are! Korean cars are rapidly improving in quality and currently are fine cars that are comperable to other manufacturer's models.
P.S. I was talking about without a trade in in terms of price.

Damn straight I want the Neon brought back over these poser/ losers, at least it handles and goes SORTA fast. BTW owned a Spectra for 120,000 miles interior plastic degraded over time but mechanicaly not bad. DAMN good lights and brakes, OK drivetrain. The Rio though sucks *** it won't get out of it's own way. Of course, the aveo is a gutless POS as well, and no mo Neon, so that leaves the Phukus to carry the banner for the US of A (Oh almost forgot the Cobalt) but no more cheap, fast Neon. (sigh)

I'm not promoting them I am just saying that they sometimes do not get enough credit just as the early Japanese and German products did many years ago. I still love my truck.
I agree that chrysler corp. needs a good small car and not some terrible small thing.(I don't know what to call the Caliber.) Mopar's current lineup of small cars brings shame to the Chrysler/ Dodge name.
P.S. Why would you promote the same product as the topic of that forum. That is like saying on this forum buy a 3rd gen because of these features blah blah blah. People on forums generally already love their car and want to improve it and enjoy the experience of owning it, otherwise they would not have joined the forum and could have cared less about their transportation other than the fact it got them from point A to point B.

Hardly soccerish to me. Sounds to me like you can't stand anything Koreans build, especially when they follow the "American" recipe and do it better.
I get it -- any imported SUV = soccer mom, right? The Borrego is a real body-on-frame vehicle with a respectable 7500lb tow rating. It can handle that tow thanks to the 337hp / 323tq 4.6 liter v8 (outguns Dodge's hottest 4.7) with 6spd automatic. Automatic 4WD is available (with manual 4hi/4lo) along with descent control.
