Recently got the fun "serv 4wd" light in my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 (37k miles). Dealership is saying that it is the transfer case mode switch (PN 56045614AA) and that I'm looking at around $400 for the part and to replace it. Anyone tried swapping one out before and how much work would I be into if I did it myself?
