Default Control arm hitting!!

Ok so after searching and searching we have finally figured out that clunking noise up front...I have the 2.5 level kit put on and this is the result...the upper control arms are hitting the shock bucket, which the shop says its causing no damage, but I dont want to just deal with the clunk or the possible damage down the road...what options do I have to fix this? I dont want to lose the ride height that I gained thru the level kit, I love the bull dog look, but this clunking noise has to go!!!

Damn, you coil over guys are having fits with simple spacers. What the hell? There have got to be a couple hundred posts here about clunking, death wobbles, steering wheel shimmy, etc.

I'd say it's gotta be the install or the spacers themselves. What brand you got? Try to see who else has them and if they have any issues like that. If others are using them and they are NOT hitting the shock bucket, then you need to make get the install right! If it ain't the install, then make them install a different brand.

Fat Bobs even tells you that the biggest spacer recommended for the 1500 2WD is 1.5". I did the 2" spacers with new shocks and get a little bump every now and then.

I guess that is just how it goes.

check out my thread on dodge talk, i had the same problem except mine where 2inch spacers from fatbobs on my 06. i am getting ready to remove it since the ride is bouncy as hell now but doesnt hit anymore and drop the rear.
http://www.dodge%20talk.com/forums/s...d.php?t=256858, make sure you take the %20 out between the dodge and talk on the link in order for it to work

2 things, the link did not work after removing the %20, and also, I def am not looking to lower the truck, if anything I want it higher, but I just want to fix this clunkin noise, have anyone heard of 3" spindles for an 07 2wd?
