Default Just got to say I love my Ram when pulling

Well when I bought my 2004 ram QC with the 5.7 Hemi I was a little worried about what it would be like pulling. Well I pulled my boat this weekend about a 500 mile round trip. WOW THAT THING HAS POWER. The road was a road that went up and down the entire way. I can't beleive how good it pulled the boat, only thing bad is I only got 12 MPG but I kinda expected that.

Just wanted to let you all know what I thougt and if anyone has anything they added to help with fuel when pulling would be great.

Good to hear.I have a 21 foot camper that weighs about 4800 lbs and cant wait to hook it up and see how it follows behind the Hemi.I used to pull it with a 02 GMC Sierra with the 327 in it and that pulled it ok,just had to hammer it to get up the bigger hills.

You will love how it pulls, I pulled my boat for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had a 2000 Ram with the 5.2L and you knew that you were pulling something with it. The 5.7 Hemi doesn't even know that it is pulling anything. I pulled through back roads with lots of curves and hills and it was like nothing was behind me.
