Default "Lamp out" chime on '04 Ram!!!

Hi gang,
First time poster here!! I just bought an '04 Hemi 4x4 Laramie Ram and the "Lamp Out" indicator and chime keeps flickering off and on while on the freeway. It even does it while the lights are off and not braking (no lights on). I just ordered two new circuit boards for the taillights thinking it can't hurt to replace them. Any other ideas? What gets me is that it flickers and keeps chiming even when no lights are on??

Thanks in advance for any advice!!

Brock

welcome to DF!

sounds like you have a wire loose or frayed somewhere. have you actually checked all of your lights?.
on another thought, one of your bulb connections could be loose also(blub not pluged in all the way/ connections not securely plugged in ...)

good luck.

+1 on loose connection, I had a cracked tail light lens and every so often the moisture would cause a bad connection. And it will beep off and on as you are driving.
