beez 06-25-2009 07:20 PM

Very nice! What made you choose that over like the vararam or something else?

fatdebo 06-25-2009 07:21 PM

Looks great!!! Could you tell the difference between the stock one? Maybe a vid?

yea lol It's probably the most expensive intake out. My engine will be open for a lot of upcoming shows, so i needed form and function lol.

I was originally going to get a K&N, then it was a Vararam, then i landed on this. I had not read a single complaint from anyone who had one. They all said they had noticeable increase in power, the sound was great, and it looks friggen sweet

I could definitely tell a difference. The sound of the engine is amazing. I don't have a vid, but Johnnymagnum made one with his,

You're BFI intake looks very nice and I'm sure you are happy with it. One observation for consideration is with the last picture in your sequence with the hood open - it is a good illustration of how the radiator overflow spout dumps directly onto the exposed filter. Many of us that have various CAI configurations indeed have similar exposures; I would suggest a cheap 'mod' and add an extension to this spout down the side of the radiator and exit to the ground 'just in case' it ever overheats and pukes coolant directly on your filter and gets sucked up into the throttle body. This may be overly cautious but it is certainly hot enough here in Texas now for this to potentially happen.

something to think about...if youre puking up THAT much coolant, i dont think that sucking some back into the engine is going to be your biggest problem...

looks good! now adjust it to get it off that ac line.

I think they are well worth the 400 bucks.

and I doesnt the coolant go back into the resevoir if it overflows??
