Question New here. 1st Mod.???

Hello everyone, I am sure that this has been covered but would appreciate any help/opinions you are willing to share.

I have a 07 ram 1500 4x4 that I have not done any performance upgrades to. I am wanting to start with a CAI (thinking K&N). and also a cat back exhaust system with dual side exits. With some of the work that I do I cana not have a loud truck, I would like a muffler that is not much louder than stock accept when you really punch it.

Also I do alot of dirt road driving, should I stay away from the CAI or would it not be to hard to keep clean.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide me.

Get the magnaflow catback system....it has dual side exit and magaflows are generally not loud until you stomp on it. For a CAI an open filter would get dirty faster but i managed to do it when i was on lease roads doing hotshot trips all day just gotta clean it allot.

Aero Exhasut 3030XL would not be a bad choice for you. They are a little spendy but it sounds like exactly what you are looking for. Here is a link to another thread I posted and you can see what mine sounds like. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...-at3030xl.html

i would think you could keep your stock muffler and just remove your resonator.
Also, from what I have seen, in terms of CAI dust, there are shields that you can put around the filter, such as this pre-filter: http://www.autoanything.com/air-filt...A2582A0A0.aspx
I'm not really sure if they work; if anyone could help me out here.
