Default CV Boot or Axle?

2007 Ram 1500 4X4 Big Horn. 28K miles.
I put in a 2" front leveling kit last week. Love the way it sits now. Well, this weekend I changed the oil and noticed that there was a lot of grease spray around the front passenger axle. I'm guessing that I kinked the boot while putting in the lift spacer and now it cracked.
Can I/should I replace the boot or just get a new axle?
Pros/Cons?
Thanks!

Should be under warranty still. Just don't tell them about the leveling kit. A boot if the axle is still good and not clunking. You'll need an alignment now too.
