Default Changing Cluster Lights?

I would like to change all my dash light to more of a blue color if I could. Has anyone done this before and how hard is it and also any good website with new bulbs to get. Any pics of what colors anyone has changed to would be really cool also. Thanks.

yea i did it on my 02 1500...go to superbrightled.com and you can get all the bulbs there....i dont remember the exact bulbs you need for all i remember is theres goin to be 3 different sets you need.....11 for guage cluster, 3 for overhead, 3 for hvac controls, and one for the headlight switch...also your goin to need some blue rusolx theatre film....im sure some of the other guy who have done this will chime in as well

You don't need any blue film, you just need to get white (clear) leds. The numbers and lines are already blue.

I think the blue film is to make the odometer and gear selector and overhead display match the blue bulbs, if blue is your choice. Most go to blue for some reason... but I've seen just a couple all red. I think there is a really good write up somewhere on the dodge talk forum.

That sounds cool, did you need that film stuff to get the odometer and other displays to get the color to match?

I thought about switching mine out to LEDs (since I have a couple burned out bulbs already) but some guys reported that the LEDS don't dim as much as the regular stock bulbs. When I drive at night I usually dim the inside lights as much as possible.

yes i had to use the film for the odometer and the overhead display and if you do go with superbrights don't get the high output led they don't work as good as just the regular ones and if you want pm me as i see you have a 2002 also and i can give you the number of the bulbs you will need
