mpg?
MC35, driving habits are the number one factor in mpg. After that tire pressure. Then it's time to make sure you've done a tune up when called for. Make sure the throttle body is kept clean and your EGR valve is functioning properly. Synthetic fluids wherever you can use them always helps you sneak out an extra mpg or two.
At the mod level, things to get it breathing better (CAI, free flowing cat back) and a tuner will help, as will going to an e-fan.
I have probably the heaviest 1500 on the site, at every bit of 7000#, do NOT have MDS, roll 35" tires and avg. between 11.5 and 12 in overall driving and can eek out 16.5 mph on trips if I keep it right at or a shade under 70 mph...
