Default Need Advice On which all terrain tire to get

I'm stuck between the

BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO
LT265/70R-17/E1 121R

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...09538&sw=false

or the

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac
LT265/70R17C1 112Q W

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...09538&sw=false

maybe if someone had pictures of the tire on their truck would help or if you guys have any other all terrains that might be really good.

also just wondering if the all terrains really make the ride bumpy or not smooth

Uh, neither. Get yourself a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers, save yourself about $200 and enjoy having a much better, longer lasting tire.

Both links are the same for me, but i obviously know what BF allterrains look like...I've always liked the look of the BF's but if youre trying to save money, the nittos are definitely the way to go.

how's the tread life on your nitto's looking at them they do seem pretty good and have that aggressive look I'm looking for, I'll keep them in mind when I'm buying. Do you have any pictures of them on your truck?

Mine have about 6,000 miles on em and still look brand new, theres a few others running Nittos with 40-50k+ miles on theirs and they still have plenty of tread life.

What about the cooper Zeons? Lots of peeps on here talk like they are the holy grail of tires. I don't have them so I don't know..

Ive got Pirelli ATs but they arent 17in tires either so mine were considerably more in cost. However, I do like Nittos better than the choices you have offered.

Personally I got to go with Mickey Thompson ATZ's. These tires are wearing Exceptionally well for me so far. I 've had them for a little over a year and prolly got a little over 20K on them and they still look new.

Mickey Thompson ATZs, Nitto Terrra Grapplers, Toyo Open Country ATs are about the three best all terrain tires IMO.

The Cooper Zeons are really good tires too, but are more of a street tire, they may be classified as All Terrain, I don't know, but don't have the ply rating as the above three mentioned. Plus, I'm not sure if they come in 17s yet.

yes, the cooper zeons ltz's come in 17's, but i have a set of 275/60/20s on my truck, and they have an amazing tread pattern, price was pretty darn cheap, and they pulled my 2wd out of a lake while pulling a boat...so, you be the judge..
