Default Magnaflow

I realize this topic may be beat to death to some of you, I searched and got real mixed results.

We all know there's a thousand different mufflers out there that all sound different, and each one sounds different with different sizes.

I want an extremely deep pur, no rasp, no tin, no break up. Magnaflow is the only muffler I've heard that gives the sound I want. Problem is, I see videos on youtube, with the same Magnaflow part number, same motor, and they sound totally different.

I realize Magnaflows go by length, but there's different shapes as well. Which one should I be looking for?

Also, if I'm barking up the wrong tree for a extremely deep tone with Magnaflow, who should I be looking at?

For reference, I have a Moroso Spiral Flow now. It got old, it's not as deep as I want, although it is one clean sound. On the highway up around 2200rpm it sounds amazing.

I concur completely with using the magnaflows; I'm using the longest 3'' in 3'' out with one end offset in the polished SS - it is perhaps too quiet for many but it does have a pleasant deep rumble that increases when pushed. One additional 'extra' that has worked for me is to mount the muffler in a vertical position as opposed to the usual horizontal method - and this seems to reduce greatly if not totally eliminate the dreaded 'in-cab-drone'.

I have a 14" magnaflow and it has a nice deep rumble when you step on it. and its nice and quiet on highway. the shorter the muffler the louder it is. I wanted an 11" but I couldnt find one in the size i needed.

I posted a video not too long ago.
