I bought me a set of pacesetters longtubes and got some pipe, Getting ready to run true dual with Hi flow X pipe. The question is, Should I go with a dual in/dual out muffler, Or 2 seperate mufflers. If I go with a 2 in/2 out I can exit out one side. However, If I go with 2 seperate mufflers, Mounting becomes a bit more of a pain.

Wadda ya think?

 

2 seperate muffler if you have an X-pipe.
Personally, I would go with a Prochamber like they put on the stangs and run straight pipes. Prochamber takes all the crappy baffle out and makes it a x-pipe which helps with flow. Sorta Flowmaster sounding.

 

As opposed to single muffler for H pipe? Can't run straight pipes, I can get the LT Headers passed inspection, But wouldn't be ableto get no cats passed inspection. Besides if I ran straight pipes, I would be to tempted to put some sparkers in them.


I don't like flowmaster mufflers one bit. I am looking at Borla or Magnaflow, Probably magnaflow. Considered cherrybomb, But there a little pricy.

 

You said nothing about cats and by straight pipes i meant no mufflers.
