What's crazy is you live in Gilbert and I'm in Queen Creek, of all the places in the valley, we are both in the East valley. I read alot of good things about the product, everyone that has one loves it- Not so with alot of other programmers. So hopefully it works for my truck.

 

Get yourseld a Diablo so you can turn that MDS crap off. You'll have lots of shift features to firm up those lousy shifts too.

I know some guys even with Diablo's were having issue's on downloading into their trucks. Some of the issu'es were related to key position and some were because of stero or door being opened. Get in, close the door, turn the stereo off and follow the instructions. As stated, try a few times in a row. Most of the issues have been key position related in conjuntion with aftermarket alarm/starters.

 

I really like my evolution. the top off is the gauge pod . waiting a day is not so bad.

 

The Edge Does alter the shifting to be quickeer and firmer in the different settings. And they offer +35hp in the extreme setting......That is less than the diablosport as far as I know. I wish I could get an edge.......Guess I will have to settle for a DSP......now to find a cheap one.........

 

Why on earth would the stereo or door being open effect the programmer??? I sold my edge after a month driving down the highway when MDS kicks in to 4 cyl there is a noticable hard shift which sucks on long drives on the highway. The gauge functions are badass.

 

Guess what? No updates available... And no working Evolution. Good thing the tech told me to update after 5:00, because there is nobody to call after 5:00................. They get one more day to figure this out, I'll let you know.

 

Yeah I wouldn't believe the 35hp gain for a second specially on a gas engine. The numbers that the superchips and diablo put down are much more realistic than what the edge's numbers are in that respect.

 

so the edge is a lying piece of crap? I guess they lie about the updates, they must be lying about the hp gains too.......I really need to get a DSP I am sick of just talking about it and not actually getting one....

 

Never said that they were a lying piece of crap, they just exaggerate a little on their number just like 90% of performance companies usually do. Most claims companies make are usually higher than what they really produce or are rating the hp at the crank and not at the wheels.

 

Ok, so the update took an extra day from what they said, but it is online and works great.

I have not driven very far yet but I am happy with the product.
