I just bought an 05 ram the other day. The salesman said the guy who traded it in lost both original keys and remotes. he went to the dealer and found out how much it was going to be so he didn't go along with it. He went to a locksmith and they made a key w/ the chip in it for much cheaper. Don't know how much but i'm gonna find out cause i only have 1 key right now and no remotes.
