I have an 07 1500 quad cab, w/4.7 and 6 spd man. I was trying to figure out what gears i have. I dont have a sticker in the glove box and i really don't know anywhere else to look?

 

build sheet from dodge or call them and give them your vin # to check

 

Or look for a sticker on the rear axle just inside of the tire.

 

Good to know thanks alot. I think i might head iver there tomorrow, before the dealer closes up or something.

 

or another way is to take some chalk and make a mark on the driveshaft then one on the top of the tire with the truck in neutral and the rear end jacked up spin the tire and count how many times the driveshaft spins until the tire makes a complete circle

 

isn't the typical number 3.55?

 

50/50 chance; the 6 speed only came with 3.21's or 3.55's.

 

just get under the truck and look around the axle tube, just inside the rear right tire. its wrapped around the tube. can't miss it

 

My '08 came with 3.21s....I upgraded to 4.10s....nice upgrade to be sure...
