Default 2wd hemi lift

I just bought an 05 ram rumble bee after trading in an 02 ram. I am looking for infromation from anybody who has lifted a 2wd ram. I would like to go 6". I know that Fabtech has a 6" kit for about $1300, CST has a 6" kit for about the same amount of money, and I just found that Rough Country has come out with a 6" lift for about $600. I am not sure as to which one I should pick, but I can say that 99% of my time is spent on the pavement. Any information would be appreciated.

if you dont do any hardcore offroading than there is this company on ebay that specifys on lifts for 2wd dodges and the only thing is with their lift is you should keep the factory wheel offset otherwise it could put too much stress on the spindles for your occasional offroad adventure and they could snap. and its only $500. so if youre stickin with your factory wheel spacing than thats another way to go. ill get back to u on the name of im tryin to find it on ebay.

whats the point in lifting a 2wd truck 6"? I can understand leveling it or maybe a couple of inches, but 5 or 6? You're not gonna be able to take it anywhere even close to terrain that would require that much lift.

This much lift is strictly for appearance. I have always liked the lifted look, but I know that in reality I will never "need" this much lift.

well turns out the lift i was tlakin about on ebay was Rough Countrys prototype to see if there was enough of a demand for it. looks like there was. i dont see anything on the website though that says to keep the factory wheel offset so maybe they made the spindles stronger or somethin which is its $100 more than it was on ebay... id say go for rough country if your not gonnna be doin any off roading, why spend twice as much on fabtech for same amount of lift? im saving up for the 3" coil lift, cant stand this "downhill" look. good luck with yours

The rough country looks good, also thinking of buying it.Wanted a 2" lift but can get the spacers but can't seem to find shocks 2" longer. It says you don't have to replace
them but better that you do.I want to put different shocks in as i find the front a bit wavie.

you dont really need new shocks unless you are an offroader, your shocks arent gonna do alot of traveling driving down the street. so if your planninon doin a leveling kit and not doin any real offroading i would worry too much about new shocks.
