I was wondering if the reflector thingys in the inside of door come out. They are currently red and im going for the all black theme and my brother has some of his special paint stuff left over from his f350 and his have a notch to pop out. I dont want to crack mine and was just seeing if anyones taken theirs out from past experience.

If you take the door skin off you will see they can pop out. Ive never taken mine out though. Ive never had a reason to.

 

YUP they pop out, I have one missing.

 

Use a small flat screw driver to pop them out.

 

or take the panel off and pip them out from the inside....that seems safest to me

 

or have your eight year old girl slam the door, it will break off two tabs and fly right out!!! i don't know what the hell she did but that little red plastic bastard popped right out. i dunno....

 

They pop out. I had one missing. I popped the other one out and replaced them with some chrome ram head reflectors.

thanks sliver but i already have the translucent paint. Im probably going to do it tomorrow if its nice out and post some pics of it. Just another thing to make it unique.
