Just do like you said and paint some eyelids on the outside of them and call it done.

You know what they say about hindsight man. Just use it as a learning experience, no point worrying about what you should have done.

i dont get it silver, you're the master at taping stuff off. how did this get screwed up so bad? they look great aside from where the tape was jacked up. they're definently repairable...

lol ive only taped the bezel and that was easy. this was hard and as you can see not good at taping stuff off. much rather just sand and spray lol. u think they are repairable? i know i can repaint them but the little piece of chrome that got removed would just bug me every time i saw it. id rather just sell them for what i paid for them

silver, honestly I think they look good. I understand that you messed up and pulled some chrome off, but what is another 1/2" of chrome to your light reflection? Just paint the part you pulled off, chrome and silver are a pretty close match. Mine is a little off in one spot, you cant tape a perfect circle with strait tape

it was pretty straight until i pulled the tape off just kinda peeled the paint off a little too and actually i can paint over most of the part that peeled off. i really just dont know if i want to do it anymore. i might just sell it for what i paid for and see if anyone wants a set to mess with

yes you can, very difficult and takes quite a bit of time and steady hand, but mine are perfect. took me 6 hours total to do the whole headlight paint job.
