I use a Water blade. Works great! Then a nice soft towel for the small spots.

 

Yup. i have a California squegee too. No squeezing out water, no water marks left behind, no dirt to get caught in the micro fibers to scratch.
Now I use that for my main wiping and it does fantastic but you cannot get everywhere with it, so I use The Absorber for the rest of the cracks, corners, mirrors and bumpers.

the absorber for me. works really well....loses some of it absorbing quality aftrer about a year, but thats probally because i dont keep it in the container and it gets dry as hell rather than staying moist and soft. i heard the california blade is great too but you should really only stick to using that on your windows.....

 

Yeah, Im like some of you. I do use a rubber blade to get a majority of the water off and then use an absorber to get the rest. Thats definately the way to go if you wanna same time and the strength in your arms......LOL

 

I just use a few towels and then go back over it with the micro fiber towels to shine things up a bit. If I had a darker color truck where it would show a lot more Id probably use just the micro fiber towel or The Absorber

 

Holy ****, regular towels scratch your paint horribly.

I use waffle towels and microfiber. Chamois for the hood and windshield.

I've become a detailing nut this year.

 

+1 on the california water blade.....i have been using it for 10 years now.

 

I use Cobra waffle weave microfiber towels that I got from Autogeek.net.

 

I go through about 3 microfiber towels when drying. I start them on the windows and chrome, making sure there are no water spots. When they become to damp for windows they go to drying the body.
