O.k. I took her in on Monday and the dealer tells me they have to order the part from Oregon (I am on leave in WA) on that it would be here on Tues. Tues comes around and they call me and tell me it didnt arrive but not to worry it would be there on Wed. TOday they call me and say the p/s pump is on national back order and wont be available until mid August. WTF. So naturally I ask why did you tell me this on Monday? "Well Sir we were unaware until we called the warehouse". WTF. How hard is it to pick up the phone????

 

It's going to be a long while before they catch up on all the shortages created by the temporary shutdown.

 

go aftermarket. you'll be able to find it at a bumper-to-bumper or some place like that. murray's/oreiley's will have it for $70 or something with a lifetime warranty.

damn, just noticed you got an 08 and it's probably under warranty. tough decision, no truck, or pay out of pocket to get it running. you sure can't drive it without a p/s pump. maybe go off on the dealer and have them put the aftermarket part in?

 

tell them to take one out of another truck!!
