A guy on another thread (Can't post link cuz it gets censored) says he has a TB from Modern Muscle and it "... picked up .1 -.2 tents in the 1/4 and 1 mph. It is like adding a E-Fan or underdrive pullyes"

I guess it all comes down to if you're willing to pay extra for the performance that this one offers.

Does Fastman require you to send in your throttle body? I don't have a spare one and I drive my truck to work everyday so its gonna be a problem if I have to.

You don't have to send yours in to get it done. He will buy a new tb for you and then do whatever you want to it. That is what I had him do then when I got my new tb from him I sold my stock tb in the classifieds.

No. It's nothing like adding an E-fan. An E-fan adds HP. A countoured t/b does not!!!!! It only makes the throttle touchier off the line. it does not flow more at all. Not unless the butterfly plate is a true straight bore that is bigger than OEM, which no "ported" 5.7L t/b is. if you loook at the diagram in the link that has been previously posted it chosw you exactly what i am talking about.

I would rather do it my self! Is it hard and what actually do you to to your stock TB? Sluggish fit isnt worth $325!
