Default Quick question...help?

my power locks dont work on my rear door on the drivers side. so i could figure it out by going in there and using process of elimination, but its easy just to ask for tips and suggestions. whats the best way about getting to the wires inside the gromet. through the door panel or the little black rubber piece that protects the wire. and how do i get either off? thanks in advance

I would say take the panel off and as far as how to, I see 1 screw right in the middle and then the bolt for the handle and it should pop off.

When my drivers side lock quit working it was the latch/lock assembly and it had to be replaced.
