Default need help

I have an 06 dodge ram 1500 V-8. My truck has just started dieing on me with out any warning, as if someone pulled the plug. I keep good maintenance on the truck. It will die with no indication, no sputtering, all the gauges are reading normal, when it dies, I will start it right back up and its fine, it just does this at will, no specific time. Any thoughts? any one else experiencing this ? it has 60k miles on it, I am the original owner, the engine is the smaller v-8 I believe a 318?

Not long after I got my truck it would die on me once in awhile. After about the third time I took it in. They replaced a bad EGR valve and it hasn't done it since.

Clean the throttle body, if it's never been done and you've got 45k miles on the truck, it's probably pretty gunked up. EGR is another possibility, but usually to be bad enough to stall the truck, it would be popping a code.

Could also be the actual PCM, but let's hope not, not a cheap part...

4.7 common "stalling" issues are bad Throttle Position Sensor, dirty throttle body/clogged idle air valve and bad plugs/wires. Since the plugs are new, I'd clean the TB and check the TPS.
