all, i have the factory sunroof in my '05 quad cab. stopped by the car wash yesterday and had a whole bunch of water come through the sunroof! when i got home i noticed that the sunroof is not closing all of the way in the up position. all of the other functions seem to be ok, opens all of the way, vents properly, just won't close all of the way. anyone have a suggestion on what i might be able to do? i have an appointment with the service center tomorrow and i would prefer to save the 1-2 hours of diagnostic time that they quoted me.

 

You can get a sunroof??

 

I had the same problem with mine. The pressure of the car wash had pushed the sheet metal of the roof a little. This stopped it from sealing. With the sunroof open, I grabbed the metal of the roof and pulled up a little. Then I closed it and made sure the seal lined up properly. Havent had a leak since.
