Default Best standard size tires.....

Need mew sneakers for the buggy. I have searched the DIY and haven't found the answer to this question: What is the best standard size (275/60-20) tire for a 2wd QC Ram? The factory Badyears have 47 K on them and they are about done.

Please reply with specific suggestions, not just brand. I'm looking for quiet, decent handling sneakers. Price is not an issue. Just quality.

I do a lot of long drives and I have the American Prospect SUV tires on mine. Yes, it is only on 17" rims, but I still only paid $508 for a full set (intalled, mounted and balanced), and I now have close to 25000 on them and still have all kinds life left. Wasn't sure what you were looking for (street or off road) but I figured I would let you know....

Michelin LTX M/S 275/60/20 - I would say they are the best for what you want.

Yes, the Cooper's are very nice too; I run Pirelli's which MANY people don't like. As in the original question - cost has never been a tire selection factor for me either - and I can only speak from personal experience about the Michelin's having gotten 84,000 useable miles out of them on a 1999 Ford F150.
I would imagine most of the suggestions given will work better for him than the original Goodyears.

COOPER ZEON LTZ's hands down! 275/60/20 on stock rims. I couldn't beleive the grip I was missing out on with the stock Goodyears. Nice and quiet. Same day I had them put on my girlfriend and I took a ride and we had a spontanious afternoon Thunderstorm (FLORIDA)! She immediatly grabbed the Oh S*** handle and yelled for me to slow down! Until we hit the first puddles and truck didn't pull from side to side like before . I was also supprised on how well it handled in the rain. Well worth the money.
Ok enough of my first impression
Sorry for the typo's
