Default Zeon LTZ's

So after looking for a while for tires to replace my stock Goodyear Eagle LS2's I came across the Cooper Zeon LTZ's and I fell in love. One they look amazing, two I hear they perform just as good as they look, and three the price. Being a 20 y/o college student I don't have the expendable income I wish I did to get some serious off-road tires. But I found them for $660 shipped to my door from TreadDepot. Is that the best price I can get?

Nope, discounttiredirect.com will beat their price by 10 dollars...I got them in a 275/60/20 shipped to me for i think 645 or so...but as for the tire, they are perfect, dread is deep, price was great, and performace is 200% better than the stockers you have now...

Great street tires and seem to have good tread wear. If you do ANY off roading you do NOT want these. You will be stuck. Gauranteed.

Um...ok, so not 100% true on the offroad stuff from Thefist - I had to back down into a lake to put my boat in to the point where my exhaust was in the water, and my truck only being a 2wd, these tires pulled me right out, they did not bog down or anything, and this was like a grassy/sandy area of the lake I had to put in...but as for actual mudding or w/e, I haven't done much of that, but as for getting stuck 100% of the time, I do not agree with that...just my 2 cents tho

Treaddepot is the cheapest for the LTZ's in that size. You could always call someone else up for the hassle of price matching for a lousy $10...lol Not worth the hassle IMO.
LTZ's aren't great for heavy mud, but everything else they are good at. The 275/60/20 just isn't an offroad size tire to begin with but they do great compared to many others and best of all you cannot beat the price!

They'll probably be great tires for you.

My job and my hobbies put me on old washed out logging roads and desert two tracks all the time. With that in mind I won't be replacing zeons with zeons.
