Default 05 Transmission problem.

Hey whats up everyone? I am new here btu I have been looking at threads here for awhile. Short story on my truck, I bought an 05 1500 dodge ram quad cab short box Hemi flavored, all wheel drive with 27000 miles on it almost 2 years ago now. I am damn near 70000 now and it works ok. It has been a lemon since I got pretty much. around 40K miles I started to have some trans problems. Brought it to the dealer they siad it was fine. I brought it to a handful of trans shops they said it was fine too. My problem was I would do a bit of driving then I would come home or even going to a parking spot I would never pull in I would back in so I would pull up stop put it in reverse then I would wait a second or two before it would kick into reverse. So I figured I brought it to a bunch of pros they said its fine...it must be fine. Since then I have had a bad vibration in my rearend...turned out the nut on the rearend yoke got loose somehow, i had to do the fan clutch once then my water pump went and the fan clutch went again. There were a few other minor things that happened along the way and a week or so ago I had to change the EGR valve it was driving me insane for awhile surging and stuff no codes came up. But I got that all figured out. But over all this time the transmission in my opinion has been getting worse right now it is up to almost 3 to 5 seconds before it shifts into reverse.

Has anyone else had this problem with their trucks? Anythign I might be able to do besides change the fluid because I've already done that.

THanks for any help in advance.

Have you had the system actually flushed? Not just dropping the pan? Also when the fluid was changed was there anything in the pan (i.e. metal filings)?

Well the dealer said they did a full flush of the transmission system and said it looked fine. So I would have to take their word on that one. Other than that I havent had anythign done to the transmission. I don't beat on the truck I drive pretty slow actually. I dont usually go above 60 on the highway. As for towing I have only towed a handful of small trailers.
