The cv shaft is held onto the output shaft from the 3rd member with a spring steel clip. About 3 months ago i replaced the drivers side cv shaft and clip and it already slid back off of the output shaft. I was wondering if this is common and if there is a fix. Thanks Kelly

 

Don't know if there is a fix but......did you make sure you felt a "snap" of the snap ring as it seated, when you relocated the cv shaft into the housing?
