Hi just bought my first ram. It's a quad cab slt4x4 with hemi. Yes it's an awesome engine. Now, my question is about the rear bumper.I did find out the truck had a minor accident not sure if that is the problem. I suppose whoever had it could have pulled something heavy. But the bumper is angled slightly toward the ground. It's not bad but you notice it if you look at it from the side. Just want to get some opinions and see how to fix it. Thanks!

 

Well with out pics of what you are talking about it's hard to say but right off the top of my head I would say get a new bumper. You could get under it and see if you can see anything thats bent or bolts missing.If its the bumper itself thats bent then I would definatly say get a new one.

 

Well I think your first step is to identify exactly what isbent first and go from there. Is it the bumper bracket? Pics would also help.

 

Visually nothing looks to be real bad bent. I'll try to take pics if I can.

 

its not best its a character mark keep it!!!!!!!!!... I got bunches of em lol... no but go get urself a roll pan the chrome on them things are crappy anyway mine rusts all the time cheap as$ chome bumpers

 

If the bumper itself is not twisted, there's lots you could do.

Loosen the bolts on the mounts and see how much tolerance you have to move it. You could ream some of the holes out to give yourself more play. Or you could just buy new brackets.
