just did my tranny and rear end last week.... the tranny is messy but if you take your time and loosen the driver side rear bolts first and slowely let the fluid drain you will minimize the mess. ( i used a plastic cement mixing pan from home depot its 4$ and plastic it has 6 " sides and its 2' x 3'.) the filters are easy in and easy out self explanatory ones you drop the pan.... dont over tighten the oil style filter.


The rear end just leave top 2 bolts in take all the rest out then loose them about 1/2 way and lightly with a plastic pry tool. clean off magnet and wipe clean clean off silicone and reapply. replace cover and torqued at 15lbs. then 30lbs. then call it a day.


Poor your old fluids in neighbors yard when there not looking.

Uhh...thanks for the diy...I think...kind of a hard read man but there is one thing wrong, You forgot to refill with fresh fluids.
