Default Installing Flex-a-lite 264 Monster ELectric Fan

The stock fan clutch is electronically controlled/ manual operation and not working properly. (Temps gettin up to 210 with no load) I'm gonna have to bypass the factory harness- obviously there will be no signal from the new fan so it's gonna eventually throw a code (and the dealership cannot overide it)... I'm thinking about wiring a "dummy" harness or jumper wire from the new fan to the computer so that it receives a signal... Anyone already done this??? Any ideas???

Lots of people have gone e-fan and this is the first I've heard about any electronic control over the stock fan clutch.

Nobody has mentioned any CEL caused by fan replacement either.

Is it something specific to Cummins trucks?

If wires are a clutch control like what you would find on the a/c pump then by using that power supply to run the fan should omit any codes.
