Default Dodge Truck Issue

Hi, This is my first post here. I have an 03 dodge ram 1500 2wd. 4.7L. I recently installed a 3 inch body lift and a leveling kit. I know it was probably stupid of me but I decided I would go have some fun with some friends and play in a mud hole. Nothing awful but hey its a truck and I was down for some fun. But I guess all that comes with a price. The truck ran fine doin the muddin and ran fine on the way home. I went to leave my house about 6 hrs latter and now my truck is running very rough and shaking and has really no power unless I put the pedal all the way down. I just looked at my engine bay and everything is covered in mud. I'm sure I probably got some sensors wet or muddy or well both. How do I go about cleaning my engine bay and any ideas on how to fix my problem? And there is no engine light on.

You might have water or maybe even mud getting into your intake. Welcome to DF.

LOL............I did something like this once too. A lot of water EVERYWHERE and something got wet because it spit and sputtered for a while. But after it dried off it cleared up and drop fine. Either way it goes youre gong to need to clean the engine bay so cover your alt, fuse box and computer (pass side firewall) and hose it off real good. Although then again, you might wanna wait until everything is dry first to make sure it will run right and then go clean it.
