headers and warrantee

Default headers and warrantee

Wonderin if anybody would know if i put Headers on my truck would it VOID warrantee just wonderin because i have been lookin at the BBk shortie headers

It shouldnt bother the warranty as long as you leave the cats and O2s on.

It would void anything exhaust wise from the headers back. If something ever goes wrong with your valves/heads i'm sure they'll try to blame it on the shorties...they'll have to prove it though.

i wouldnt even do it. companies hardly stick by their warranties to begin with, especially if you've changed something. i would know, long story short: thats why i went from bowtie to mopar

Put the headers on, they can only refuse to honor warranty on the specific item you install aftermarket unless they can PROVE that the aftermarket part caused the failure of the part you seek warranty work on.

Many dealers try to pull this crap on naive customers. Read the Magnuson/Moss Act and know it, it is your friend...
