Hey guys my dad's 06 ram threw a MIL a week or so ago was a code p0456 small evap leak took it to the dealer they replaced this NVLD pump which i thought was odd since i figured just a gas cap.. well the light came back on and it was the same code. dad called the dealer they said they'd look at it on the next day well he put gas in it and fiddled with the cap and boom light goes out.

goes into the dealer they say no light they can't do anything just come back when it comes back on no apt just show up no biggy. well light comes back on today and i go to pull the code and i also confirmed the MIL light is on do the triple key turn and no code just shows the dashed lines and then says done? anyone know what that means?

i just need the code to show so the dealer gives him a new cap that's more than likely what it is.

 

I would just unplug the neg. battery cable for 15-20 minutes and then plug it back in and wait for the MIL to show up again, as long as the truck is running fine.
