I would scuff it as much as you can then primer it with etching primer. then paint and clear it. I tried spray bombing it then krylon cleared it. Still came off easily. Aluminized metal doesnt like paint much. I did some flowmasters in black for a bud and had same problems. Also I wanted to tell those doing this mod that I used those clips that come with the screens and some zip ties without any reinforcement andI have very little if any flex. Will try to post a pic.Wonder if it could be powdercoated????

use the duplicolor adhesion promoter. works for me really good.
