02 1500 2wd evap problems

Red face 02 1500 2wd evap problems

edit:: sorry for some reason i put 09 instead of and 02 model

went to autozone today and had my codes read. had 4 codes:
P0601
p1698
p0442
p0455


the last two are dealing with the evap system. so i crawled underneath to find a line that looks like its burnt off by the exhaust pipe.
if anybody could tell me where to find the other end of this line so i can try to repair it, it would be greatly appreciated

if its the line that i found it looks like it goes up behind the block but mine seems to be capped off??

i looked at a 5.7 hemi and it did what your talking about. goes up the firewall a little ways and then has a cap on it. but its ziptied to a much smaller hose that continues on up..mine doesnt have that smaller hose. but after reading a little more, i believe that its only an air intake for the evap system.. now i get to tear into it to find the vacuum leak

so u think the broken/burnt hose is the air intake? and now u gota find the leak?

correct...any ideas on possible locations that are more prone to others for leaks?

i have the same truck and year when i got those codes, it was cracks in the hoses that are in your second picture, the fat vacume hoses. i have part #'s at home let me know if you need them i replaced them and it was fixxed

i erased the codes last night..so far the only one that has come back in the p0601 code...looks like ill be buying a new PCM eventually. i can get the part for about 175..does anybody know a ball park price of getting it reprogramed for my truck?
