Default Spark Plugs

I checked one of my plugs today at 31,000 mi and it looks ok but the electrode is starting to get round edges. I usually change plugs when they get rounded but some of you have left them for quite awhile. what's your opinion? thanks

Change them, I do mine every 30k. That is usually right when they are starting to get worn.

First off, to answer your post, replace them. now, i've asked this before and everyone says the good old champion coppers are fine for the 5.7L. I want to replace the wires as well and was thinking to go with some aftermarket wires (maybe a bit thicker)? what do you guys think? sorry for thread jacking.

65k on OEMs although Im sure they need changing by now. But it doesnt miss and my mileage is still the same so its not on the top of the priority list.

I got almost 1 mpg increase after changing plugs at 30k, even though they looked fine and ran smooth. I changed wires at 60k and used MSD 8.5 and could tell a difference with idle and low end acceleration. These wires are stiff and fat and don't fit into the OEM wire tracks, get lots of zip ties.
