yeah but they designed it to be quiet, durable & low cost.. so when motortrend or another mag tests it.. they can say "this ram is as quiet as a Lexus with the power of a viper" or something similar.

i doubt 90% of the people who buy new trucks worry about the sound it makes.. most are work trucks or an everyday man ride.. i doubt the engineers will spend much time worrying about the other 10% knowing those guys will prolly swap out for an aftermarket exhaust no matter what the factory came with ..

You know I couldn't tell you, I had it put on about a month or so after I bought the truck and that was about 4yrs ago now. It was the only one they had available at the time for their full cat back system
