So I have searched but havent found much. Looks like alot of people use royal purple for axle fluid? I was also wondering if it is just a rtv gasket we use? Does the transfer case take same fluid?

Check the FAQ's section and use the search function.. LOTS OF INFO out there.
Check your owners manual for fluids specs.

RTV sealant YES. No gasket, just RTV.
