I bought a hid headlight kit for my old 06 dodge dakota slt then when i sold it i took it out. Now i have a 2005 dodge ram slt 1500. Will the same hid kit work on my 05 ram?

 

I imagine that if your bulbs were the same they would work. I believe that your truck needs a 9007 bulb. If so, the kit should work.

 

Yeah, the kits are pretty universal. As long asd the bulbs match up and if not then you can buy new bulbs for 25-35 shipped. Do you have a relays and resistor blocks with your old kit? IDK about DAKs but RAMs need them so they do not blink or strobe or give a lamp put light on the dash.
