So I am trying to take my grill inserts out of the grill and I cant figure out the trick to taking the tabs out without breaking them, I really dont want to have to go down and buy new ones, and I really dont want to use zipties either, im trying to paint the inserts black, they are the sport inserts, the horizontal chrome colored ones.

 

dude i just had this same thing this week, you have to push the tiny part in the middle all the way through, like with a tiny screwdriver or somethin
