To all those with the polished srt10 wheels; how hard is it to keep them clean and shining? Do they require constant polishing, or just cleaning? Thanks.
I dont have SRT10 rims but the same applied to any rim. I wash mine all the time and also when washing the truck. I use a soft bristle brush made for rims. Its hard enough to get brake dust off but soft enough not to scratch. I put a coat of wax on them about 2x a month and polish when I get a chance. I have a 24v drill with a Power Ball and use Mothers chrome polish. I also have 2 cans of NevrDull I use sometimes. But keep a coat of wax on there to help stop the brake dust of sticking. Ceramic pads help also.
they have a clear coat on them so they are very easy to keep clean even tho sometimes i wish they didn't so i can get a real good shine on them.. but every time i wash my truck i wax them just to make sure they always have a good shine but that's just me!
