Default Wheel swap

sorry if this has already been asked. My truck is a 2002 1500 4x4 and currently has 17" wheels and would like to know if 16 inch wheels will fit.

Thanks

Scott

Nope. 17" is the smallest. And yes, it's been discussed a time or two.

And why would you want to go to 16s? Small cars run 16s, not full size trucks.....LOL

welcome to dodge forum.

unless jeep n dodge have the same lug pattern, wouldnt, if you wanted to use the 305s , you would need to get 4 16 inch rims, so why not just get different tires for the 17s

I figured 4 new steel 16" wheels would be cheaper than the $900 I spent on tires
