Broken Spring ? Possibly Shock. Need Help.
So I have a 2008 1500 4x2. Long story short I got a little rough with it and I THINK I compressed the spring WAY too much. My front right tire rubbed the top of the wheel well very bad, bottomed out a bit. now the truck pulls to the right, and the right side is about 1 1/2" lower on that side. Took it to the dealer and they said everything is fine, they just re-aligned my truck..... retards.
I want a slight lift, about 3 inches or so. So would I be able to get a set of new springs, Skyjacker D30 I'm thinking with a set of new shocks to go along with it, and still be ok? Or do I need to go ahead and get a whole lift kit?

If you level you will not need springs as the coild spacers you will use will go on top of the springs. If you went 2" I would say keep the shocks you have now but if you really go 3" then I would say to go with a longer shock.
Although if you didnt want to use coil spacer you could use 3" taller springs but I never found anyone who made them for a 2wd AND a HEMI. They make them for 4wd and 4.7s but not the HEMI. I was told from one of the dealers Top Gun Customs when I called looking for some that it had to do with weight issues.

I don't see how you could compress the spring too much.
I guess you might bottom out a shock and tweak it, but it would be obvious, and shouldn't affect your steering I don't think. you sure you're not just being paranoid?

I had 2" spacers on it before, and the drop on the right side was a LOT more noticeable. When I took the spacers off it was still lower on the right, but just not as bad. I don't want to have to drive around with a 2" spacer on the right, and none on the left, just to be leveled.
I heard over time the springs wear and start to drop, so I figured if I came down too hard on the right, maybe it was messed up.
