Default clicking in the rear

well 2 weeks ago i had a squeeking coming from the back two tires. i ended uo changing the pads and it was fine. but now when im accelerating there is a clicking coming from around the same area. it sounds like when you put cards in the spokes of a bike. i checked for anything that was caught up there but havent found anything. it only does it while accelerating. any thoughts?

This may not be the problem, but then again, it may.

My grandfather recently had his pads changed in his Ranger and it was making the clicking noise just like you describe in the front. Kind of sounds like they are tapping against the wheel (and I like your description of something in the spoke).

This happened because they didn't put the right kind of pads on and they were loose. You may want to check that out.

i put the pads in myself and they seemed really tight, had to tap them in with a hammer. how do i check the gears? pop off the cap and look for shavings?
