I know I know it cannibalistic to "race" and beat another ram... But sometimes its just hard not to. Coming off the freeway this morning I had an 06' RCSB debadged tailgating me for most of the way to work. At the first light he had an opening to get around me so he rips to the side of me and floors it, cuts in front of me and keeps on going to the next light so I switch lanes so we are side by side at the next light. He revs his engine a few times (his exhaust sounded pretty good) looks over at me and starts inching forwad little by little, so what the hell I wanted to see what he had, opened the cutout (still not reving mine), Light turns green, he spins his tires and starts to go so I punch it and all he could do was stare, he was at my bumper coming out of the intersection, by the time I hit 60ish, he was probably 4-5 back and just gave up. I back off it and switch lanes to turn into my buisness complex, he puts by while Im waiting to turn shaking his head with a smile on his face.

 

LOL funny! You never know what someone else has under the hood! LOLOL

 

What have you done to your engine so far.

 

So far:
It has the 5.7L HEMI / Borla Cat-Back Exhaust (being replaced by an XR-1 Setup soon) / AFE Hemi High Breather CAI / Modified MIT Tube / 4.56 Gears / DMH E-Cutout / Flow Tech Pipe / UpGraded 26 row Trans Cooler / APS TQ Converter (2700 Stall) / AeroForce Interceptor Gauge / Diablo Sport Predator Tuner 91 tune (Modified) / Yokohama Parada Spec-X 275/55/r20

Very soon it will have a new cam, upgraded internals, headers and ORY

I do not know what the other truck had as it was debadged so it may have had the 4.7 in it and not a hemi (also one of the reasons mine has been debadged, know one knows what you really have that way).

 

Thumbs up for a fellow debadged hemi truck. BTW that was my first mod, bighorn and hemi badging off.

 

Nothing wrong with putting the kill on another Ram when they are asking for it .

 

man those gears and that TC give you do much. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that is a hemi and you womped him anyway

 

Well if it was then thats kind of surprising. I know I haven't driven a stock truck in a long time (well since I bought my truck 4ryrs ago) but I would think the hemi would be a little closer. Oh well, guess wat Ive been doing is working. Now I really cant wait for the cam and headers to go in!!

You guys are coming down the 9th and 10th in oct. right? Or at least that was what chris had said over on the htc. Hopefully that saturday i'll be able to go with you guys to speed world for a while. Your truck would mop the floor with mine though, you have a lot more into yours than i do at the moment.
