Default 05 ram hemi loosing rpm temporarily

I've got an 05 hemi ram 4x4 which running only at about 27 mph which is roughly 1250 rpm just drops out to about 900-950 rpm for a split second. It will do this every 10 seconds until you change speed. This is the only time it occurs, not other speeds in differnt gears. Anybody experience this. No engine light is on.

The exact same thing happened to my 2004 when the EGR valve went bad. Going 20-40mph and holding the gas pedal at a constant rpm, it would sputter and not make any rpms for a split second. I replaced it for about $40 and 2 bolts later it ran perfectly again. I didn't know this was the problem until I had it diaagnosed at the dealership. Just don't let them replace it for you, it's really easy.
